Some time ago, the Chicago Cubs beat reporter for Cubs.com, Carrie Muskat, announced that she would be discontinuing her wildly popular “Mailbag” – wherein readers could send in questions for her to answer.

Of course, the Mailbag was as popular for its ridiculous questions and thinly-developed answers as anything, so naturally the Cublogoverse cried out in horror to learn it was going away. It was rich, rich blogging material.

But rejoice, my friends! The Mailbag is back, and better than ever!

The mailbag is back, but with a new name. It’s now the “Inbox,” and fans are encouraged to e-mail questions about the Cubs. Please include your full name and hometown. Let’s get started. cubs.com.

Let’s get started indeed.
