cublogoverse The Cublogoverse Picked Up a News Cubs Player BlogWhen Mark DeRosa was dealt to the Cleveland Indians this Winter, it was not only a serious blow to the Chicago Cubs on the field, it was a crotch kick to the Chicago Cubs on the web. DeRosa’s blog, The Pulse, was one of the crown jewels of the Cublogoverse.

We wept.

But fret not! Another Cub has stepped up to the e-plate to bring us the inside curiosities of the Cubs clubhouse.

Chin Fuzz, himself, Reed Johnson will be blogging all season long, he says.

This will be fun, and I’ll try to give the fans an inside look as to what it’s like in the clubhouse. One thing I don’t do that much is smile and look like I’m having a good time on the field. I want them to see another side of the players, like when we were at the Cubs Convention and did a “For Women Only” panel. This will be a behind the scenes kind of thing. They might see me on the field and say, “Man, he looks like a real serious guy.” Off the field, guys are totally different. Reed Johnson’s Blog.

He promises to rip on Mike Fontenot in every post, and further:

My blog is definitely going to be better than DeRosa’s. I’m definitely going to be tougher on my teammates.

Awesome. Looking forward to it.
