carlos zambrano loses to brewers 4 23 07 Carlos Zambrano Hates Wrigley FieldAfter seeing the new Yankee Stadium, Chicago Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano said he is disgusted with Wrigley Field and wishes it would just burn down.

Well, he practically said that.

“You come into a ballpark like this and you see great things,” the Cubs ace told The Associated Press on Saturday before his team’s 10-1 exhibition loss at the sparkling ballpark in the Bronx.

“You wish that Chicago’d build a new stadium for the Cubs,” he said. The Associated Press.

Maybe Zambrano’s real gripe is that his winning percentage is a full 100 points better away from Wrigley – ERA is 23 points lower, too.
