In case you’re noticing a conspicuous absence from these rosters, as we reported, last year’s first round pick Andrew Cashner was dealing with an oblique injury in Spring Training, so it seems likely he’s being held back to continue training in Arizona for now.

    Colvin is still recovering from Tommy John surgery and I don’t believe the Southern League has a full-time DH. The FSL does though. I don’t believe he can throw yet.

      Thanks, and that relieves me quite a bit. I hadn’t heard any scuttlebutt about him getting demoted, so to see him on Daytona’s roster concerned me. I didn’t realize he was still recovering.
