gods-wrathIn case you missed it, Geovany Soto (shoulder) and Aramis Ramirez (back) are expected back in the starting lineup today against the Rockies.

Milton Bradley (tender, tender groin), on the other hand, isn’t expected back until the weekend.

The Cubs are shooting for a weekend return for Milton Bradley, who suffered a mildly strained groin Sunday and sat out Monday’s home opener.

The Cubs said Bradley felt better Monday, but they want to take a conservative approach, knowing he has had leg problems in the past. The weather is supposed to warm up a bit by the weekend, so he could return Saturday or Sunday against St. Louis. chicagotribune.com.

This, by the way, is how Bradley was able to avoid the disabled list last season with the Rangers for the first time in eons: constant three to five game sittings. Not enough to put you on the disabled list, but enough to keep you out for one third of the season.
