Wow. I’m not shocked by the fact of it - I’m shocked that MLB is
actually taking down one of its biggest, albeit troublesome, stars.
Manny Ramirez has tested positive for
performance-enhancing drugs and will be suspended 50 games starting
today, The Times has learned.The test result and suspension is expected to be announced later

Too bad this didn’t come, oh, say, about seven months ago.
Edit: ok, so technically it wasn’t “steroids,” it was a “banned substance.” Whatever.
