    While I agree that Pedro is sorely past his prime, a lot can be said for experience, especially playoff experience. At 5 mil, Pedro is smoking crack, but importantly he’s smoking crack for another team. But if this becomes a Jim Edmonds situation where you take a flyer on him for 500k – 1 mil, it’s worth a shot. Throw down a contract at 750k and say take it or leave it. if he says leave it, then buy him a plane ticket and call it a day.
