Best of luck, dude.

Triple-A left-hander Neal Cotts is out for the season after undergoing elbow reconstruction surgery on Thursday in Cincinnati.

“Obviously it’s disappointing,” general manager Jim Hendry said. “He was starting to throw better at Iowa.” Hardball.

Maybe that explains his struggles this year. Who knows if he’ll remain with the Cubs organization long enough to get healthy.
