Quick note on reliever Angel Guzman’s rehab:

In Des Moines, Angel Guzman started for Triple-A Iowa and threw 1 1/3 innings in a 7-1 win over Oklahoma City. Guzman gave up one hit, walked one, and struck out one, throwing 25 pitches, 15 for strikes. Muskat Ramblings.

Guzman had been the Cubs’ best reliever in 2009, so his return will be quite welcomed. It’s possible he could return on Monday, along with Aramis Ramirez and Reed Johnson, leading to an absolute CF (no, that’s not Center Field) of roster moves.
