Tom Gorzelanny is not expected to miss his next start after suffering a contusion in last night’s game. The contusion, a fancy word for bruise, came off a Dexter Fowler ground ball that smacked Gorzelanny in the foot/leg, and knocked him out of the game.

X-rays came back negative, however, and manager Lou Piniella says Gorzelanny will be on his normal throwing schedule and will start again on normal rest. Now if only he can throw, um, well.
