God’s Wrathwatch: Carlos Zambrano Returns Tomorrow
After a successful mini-rehab stint, Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano is ready to return to the Cubs tomorrow, when he’ll start against the Washington Nationals. It should therefore feel a good bit like his last outting, when he played a nondescript A-ball team.
Zambrano’s lower back issues have subsided, but are probably not gone for good. Hopefully an offseason workout routine designed to counteract the problem will help next year.
