gods wrath Gods Wrath Watch: Derrek Lees Neck Finicky AgainWith a bulging disc in his neck, Derrek Lee has struggled this year at time, but he’s played through the pain. And he’s played himself right into the second best season of his career. Last night, the troublesome neck reared its head again.

Derrek Lee was pulled from Thursday’s game in the ninth inning after he aggravated the neck problems that have bothered him at times this year. Lee slid into second base in the ninth after drawing a leadoff walk and then scored on Jeff Baker’s two-run, game-winning homer. Muskat Ramblings.

Lee is day-to-day, and he’s really just playing for stats at this point.
