According to SI.com, the Blue Jays, Phillies, and Mariners have pulled
off a gigantic trade that would see Roy Halladay head to the Phillies,
Cliff Lee head to the Mariners, and presumably, you know, something
head to the Blue Jays.

It’s all a bit amorphous at this point, but being that it could have a
huge impact on the teams at the top of the National League – not to
mention the trade / free agent market – it seemed worth getting out

I still think the they need to see what they can get for Big Z. Let face it they are not going to do anything this year. Unless the they have some prospects are ready and have a good year. We have no real cf or 2nd baseman. So barring an amazing deal they are pretty much sink. I will still cheer an pray they do well but i am looking forward to these prospects coming up soon.

How do the Cubs replace Zambrano going forward, though? Even if you’re right that the Cubs have no chance in 2010, what about 2011? 2012? Zambrano isn’t exactly an old dude, and he could be a part of the Cubs’ future success, even if it’s not in 2010.
