I am starting to worry about our pitching – Wells being shelled to start off with although he has been stellar before that. But the staff could not throw bloody strikes today – 12 walks in total and it seemed like they walked someone in every inning.

Marmol was good after walking the first batter.

Grabow was not good and didn’t fool anyone.

Cashner is a giant of a man. He struggled with his control at times and laboured throughout two innings. However he came out with some timely strikeouts which is what you look for in a reliever. However I feel he will be at AAA.

Parker shot himself in the foot after what looked like an easy outing, ended up walking 3 in a row. He just fell apart when the pressure was on.

Have to disagree with you Ace about Diamond. He was dogshit today. He also needs to give Castro a big sloppy kiss for saving him with a great play and also to Michael Ryan for swinging on a 3-0 pitch.

Have to say our pitching was shithouse to say the least. But I am very excited about Castro. He has a great swing of the bat and man he has sensational range out at SS. He has a canon of an arm but can see it might also get him into trouble ala a younger Ramirez.
