Soriano pissed me off with this because he’s lying…or at best deluding himself. Lou didn’t call him into his office because of anything that went on in the press…he was called in because of what went on, on the field. Lou’s probably no going to make an issue of it but there must be an impulse to tell the press that the press doesn’t set the agenda for his meetings with his players.

What happened to Colvin’s 2-3 starts a week? Colvin needs playing time or we might as well send him to the minors and trade him so we don’t ruin this poor kid. Oh and I agree with Bob.

    I agree with Bob Brenly!

I will admit to being very happy when the Cubs signed Soriano. But, we haven’t gotten the speed, nor the power he displayed with the Nationals the year prior.

Worse, when actually seeing Soriano on a daily basis, one is left to wonder, after all of his years in the MLB, why in the world does he still have such horrible strike zone knowledge?

Does he listen to Rudy J? Make adjustments?

How many times have we seen Soriano going down swinging on 3 straight pitches that are not even close to the plate?

What was that word Brenly used?

    Selfish?

    That sums it up.
