Mitch Atkins, we hardly knew ye. No, seriously.

John Grabow was activated from the disabled list Tuesday and Mitch Atkins optioned to Triple-A Iowa. Grabow had been sidelined since May 31 because of a sprained left knee. Atkins never had a chance to get in a game during his brief call-up and he’s expected to start Wednesday for Iowa. Muskat Ramblings.

Grabow’s stint on the disabled list was the bare minimum, which is quite shocking given that the injury from which he was recovering was an acute case of “suck,” and a slightly sprained “able to pitch.” Usually, those injuries take much, much longer to heal.
