Geez, I mean, you’d think one run scored between the first two games of the series would have been enough to win a game or two or five. Clearly, the Mariners are just an offensive juggernaut, incapable of relenting or human emotion.

      Agreed. Idiocy is the act of trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. In the top of the first with the first two batters reaching I was hoping he’d put on a double steal. Sure, probably one of the two runners would be thrown out, but not both. With Lee at the plate I would much rather see a player either on second or third with no chance of a double play than the “hopes of a big inning”. Winners attack to make things happen. Losers play the lottery over and over again and wonder why they’re broke.
