Lost in the explosion of verbal diarrhea that became Carlos Zambrano’s game, the Chicago Cubs offense still sucks. Hard. The 2010 version of Jake Peavy has been brutal – and yet, when he’s faced the Cubs, he’s looked like the Jake Peavy of old.

As for the pitching, the bullpen really didn’t need to be throwing 8 innings after a 13-inning marathon the night before. Thanks for that, Carlos.
