The Chicago Cubs keep chipping away at their draft picks this year, now having signed the bulk of the first 20 picks.

The Cubs announced Thursday they have signed fifth-round Draft pick Matt Szczur of Villanova. A two-sport star in baseball and football, he was the first .400 hitter for Villanova this season since 1997, batting .443 (77-for-174).

Here’s hoping Szczur becomes a huge star for the Cubs, but then changes his last name so that I don’t have to type it frequently.

The team still has more than a month to come to terms with the rest of their picks.
