Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 7, Dodgers 3 – July 10, 2010

Geovany Soto continues to rake (from the 8-hole), and he’s starting to make me wonder why he wasn’t included in the All-Star snub discussion, let alone the actual All-Star discussion. Yadier Molina, proving that the fans voting for All-Stars are morons, currently sports a .593 OPS (no, that is not a typo). The only other catcher on the NL roster is Brian McCann, who has a very respectable .834 OPS. Soto is now up to an even .900, including a .412 OBP, which is good for fourth in the NL behind some guys named Votto, Ramirez (Manny), and Pujols. Just sayin’.
