I thought it was. They sure haven’t been playing after almost sweeping the redturds. Time to put my cubs stuff in storage and break out the Bears. Seaon’s over. All this money being spent for a 4th place team.

Has anyone checked Lou for a pulse lately?
He doesn’t have a pulse. Hasn’t for a couple of weeks now. The team has given up, following the lead of their shitass of a manager.
It looks like the Cubs have ended the season alittle early. Do the new owners seem to care, does Hendry care, Lou certainly doesn’t, and the players are kind of going through the motions with less acting ability than they did earlier this year. So in late July the season is over and we should ‘wait till next year’. It is a terrible thing for Cubs fans when the Cubs don’t perform and no-one affiliated with the team is even the slightest bit upset.
Exactly the point. I’ve been saying for about three years now that Lou doesn’t look or sound good. He’s way over do for retirement. But the point is HE’S NOT RETIRED YET! As long as he’s collecting a paycheck he still has a job to do. He’s like an employee in the last two weeks of giving notice. He’s checked out mentally and is using up his sick time while he still can. Please make no mistake, I don’t mean to offend him or his family. I’m just saying enough is enough. Retire already and move on with the rest of your life. And to all Cubs fans, don’t buy any tickets until we see some planning for the future, not a bunch of corporate B.S.from Hendry talked to us like we’re 12 years old.
