Enhanced Box Score: Reds 4, Cubs 3 – August 7, 2010

The Cubs were gift-wrapped a comeback, but apparently it was taped too tightly at the corners, because Derrek Lee and Marlon Byrd struck out consecutively with the bases loaded. Interestingly, if Blake DeWitt doesn’t drop a pop fly in the top of the inning, the game would already have been tied.

Finally – can someone pull a Nancy Kerigan on Drew Stubbs already? That guy sucks against every other team in the universe, but against the Cubs, he’s a younger, better, outfielding Albert Pujols.
