At least the Cubs were able to make the Giants play 11 innings. It’s the small victories these days, you know?

As for the main storyline: yes, Carlos went five innings (throwing 95 pitches), and yes he gave up just two runs. Those are the good things. But the start wasn’t as good as it appeared.
