Mike Quade is a good man and has done a very good job in the time he has had. But , let’s not be fooled by what we see. There is no pressure on this team, especially on the over payed veterans.Quade I feel did not play the younger players enough. Nady,Raminez, and the rest of the so-call stars had there chance and we know where that got us. Sandberg or Girardi we have to start fresh.

I see your point about not being fooled and not playing the kids enough. But, there have been things I have seen in the last 30-40 days that I didn’t see all season such as fundamentals and simply more concentration both in the field and at the plate. It didn’t just come out of nowhere, I think he had a hand in it. I have been very pleased with how they have played and just wish this move was made earlier in the year.
