I have to say I was a little leery about the whole blacked out headlines thing because I didn’t quite get it. But now that I see it in practice it’s awesome.

hey bric..just found out that theres mutual interest between the Cubs anfd Lance Berkman…the A’s want him bad…but he doesnt want to be a DH! he wants to be an everyday player! i would rather have carlos pena!

  I’d rather have Pena, too, but I see either one as a one or two year stop gap as Hendry continues to look for an Ike Davis type. The Cubs could get Nick Evans for next to nothing but Hendry doesn’t seem interested. Ace, do you foresee some minors moves such as trying Spencer or Guyer at first?
