    I wanted this to happen last year. I would love this deal and be 100% for it!! With the sinking fastball, he should be fine coming back from surgery. GET HIM!

    Webb would be a good risk if the price is right. The Cubs have a history of signing pitchers who have had injuries and are rehabing and for the most part it has been a good investment for them. Webb was a dominant pitcher with the D backs but the relationship has soured a little. He wanted to come back and pitch at the end of 2010 but the D backs didn’t want to give him a spot in the rotation since he was going to be a FA. So, I don’t think he will be going back to Arizona.
