    if this is true…hendry better jump all over this!! what dumb ass if this doesnt get done..i would prefer gonzalez..i see that boston is gearing it to make a trade for him..they are using the money that that were prepared to offer victor martinez to get it done…if hendry isnt going to do it signing pena is our best option!!!

    for 1 year I’d play Colvin at 1B, save money to add in 2012 from the departure of Aram, Fukudome, and Silva contracts. then I’d go after A. G. if he’s a FA and not asking for the moon, cause we know Hendry likes spending money.

    if they sign Pena, hendry’s statement will be “Jaramillo knows him from the AL and thinks he can help him”. Jaramillo, the guy hendry signed and praised as the best hitting coach ever. then after the season Hank brings up another hitting coach to help the great Jaramillo.
