    wow! i think these are great signings….i am glad to see the cubs signing more international talent…keep up the good work…just need hendry to draft a good 3rd baseman…trade vitters…..hes not major league ready!!!

      I agree. I like the signings and I’m glad to see the Cubs being aggressive about signing young international players. However, “trade vitters…..hes not major league ready!!!” ? He’s the same age as the players they just signed and is ahead of them in development. Vitters just turned 21 last August. Had he not signed with Cubs in 2007 and played with Arizona State he would have played rookie A ball last year.

      To suggest he should be traded because he is not major league ready is rediculous. I give you credit for your enthusiasm but this suggestion indicates you haven’t yet reach the age of reason.

    hey roughriider i appreciate backing me..however vitters sucks man! we dont have a 3rd baseman if aramis ramirez leaves! vitters has bearly tasted double AA.. he couldnt handle AA pitching! his numbers suck in the AFL! DO YA HOME WORK BEFORE CALLING ME OUT!!
