Which begs the question… When should we expect the “Why the 2011 Reds will suck” posting???

I think the truth is somewhere in between…I think in some ways Dusty did get a raw deal here in Chicago compared to Lou…both had 4 years and Dusty caught much more shit than Lou while serving very similar tenures…

that being said…like I said before, Dusty should be getting kick backs from Dr. James Andrews and he did have an odd obsession with Neifi Perez…neither were praticularly good at any aspect of managing…

I think in dealing with the Chicago media you have to have a certain amount of self deprecation….have to laugh at yourself, and not take second guessing so damn personal…I think Quade might excel in this area…Dusty, Lou and Lovie Smith do not

was that self deprecation or self defecation?

agree, he didn’t deserve to be rehired. he’s been crying ever since, let it go Dusty, let it go. he won’t take any blame like Louie. he makes me sick.

Not even. My uncle doesn’t cry about a stupid team! He’s the best manager around and the Cubs don’t deserve him. And if you think he sucks than why don’t you do it better. He’s a great manager, a great man, the BEST uncle and the coolest person EVER! Don’t talk smack about someone you don’t even know. I know the truth and the truth isn’t that. I wish the best of luck to the Cubs organization. But they will never have the talent of the Reds. Go Uncle D!!!

Regardless and all things considered, I wish Dusty Baker a full recovery from his stroke.

The only thing he was good at was sucking and spinning a toothpick in his mouth

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the “Dusty doesn’t know how to handle pitchers or rookies” tag was with him when he CAME to Chicago. His years here seem to prove those ideas.

Also, what should the Cubs 5 year plan have been with him? He went from first to last in 4 years.

I’m sending Dusty some cheese and crakers to go along with the Whine.

Dusty even complained when the Cubs hired Don Baylor, he said they dont have a history of hiring minority managers instead of just being happy for Baylor.
