Depending on your bent, today is Opening Day. But, of course, it’s hard to feel that normal level of excitement when the Chicago Cubs aren’t in action.
Stil, it’s technically the day, so let’s get the 2011 season underway. Let’s rock.

A fun way to keep the lights on at BN? And you can win money by playing one day's worth of fantasy baseball? Score.

With Matt Garza and Scott Feldman surely on the block, the Cubs could be in the catbird seat in a weak market. Also, more on David Price's injury/trade situation.

As he demonstrated on a hanging changeup yesterday, it isn't large. Otherwise, he's quite good. Also an update on pitching prospect Josh Conway.

Just doesn’t feel right. Tomorrow is the day.
If a tree falls in the forest without anyone around, does it make a sound?
Who the hell cares?
It’s freakin’ baseball season and Wrigley will be jumpin’ tomorrow. Just hope the Cubs bats will come alive after a long slumber and the team will be able to consistently score runs.
I for one, will not be watching any baseball tonight. My baseball season begins and ends with the Cubs, the season starts tomorrow, end of story.
As a baseball fan, I’m thrilled for today even if its teams I don’t give a shit about. Tomorrow, however, is the day I’m really anticipating. It will be the first time in a few years I don’t take opening day off to watch the Cubs, which is fine since they got slaughtered last year.
Yes! It counts. The first pitch has been thrown. Play ball!!
Baseball season’s underway tomorrow!!
