The rains in Spain stayed mainly on the North Side, and the rubber game of the Cubs/Giants series was washed out today. That means two things: (1) the Cubs avoided the ignominy of getting blasted by Tim Lincecum (win), and (2) we don’t get to see the product of Mike Quade’s most recent whacky lineup (win-ish). The game was rescheduled for June 28 as part of a day-night doubleheader. By then, the Cubs will completely have things turned around, so tough luck, Giants fans!

Didn’t we man handle the freak last year? I want to say we did. I was looking forward to it. Sigh.
Knocked him out after a few innings, if I remember correctly. Not a ton of runs, though, just a bunch of hits. Would have fit right in this year.
He lasted 4 innings. Gave up 8 hits, 6 earned runs, and only struck out 4. Of course this year could have been different with our bi-polar offense.
