No Enhanced Box Score: Rain 100, Cubs 0 – May 15, 2011

Shut out, again. No hits with runners in scoring position, again. I kid.

The rains in Spain stayed mainly on the North Side, and the rubber game of the Cubs/Giants series was washed out today. That means two things: (1) the Cubs avoided the ignominy of getting blasted by Tim Lincecum (win), and (2) we don’t get to see the product of Mike Quade’s most recent whacky lineup (win-ish). The game was rescheduled for June 28 as part of a day-night doubleheader. By then, the Cubs will completely have things turned around, so tough luck, Giants fans!

I’m happy we don’t have t face the freak, but a televised game on Sunday that can watch is rare these days
