All right, folks. This is it. The free, one-day, fantasy baseball tournament on DraftStreet is today. If you haven’t already signed up for a chance to have some fun and win some money ($150 in cash prizes, with five people winning cash), you’re running out of time. When the first game starts today – the Yankees v. Cubs at 2:20 EST – the tournament starts. So get signed up and pick your team! I caved and picked at least one Cub, Aramis Ramirez. Just got a feeling.

registered yesterday to make it 35 entered at the time…at work and looking forward to putting together my squad this morning! worst case scenario my performance will rival that of the Cubs. Best case scenario i’ll have some free cash to play with on their. guess i better hurry and get the yanks hitters before first pitch!

I truly suck at this. My whole line looked like this: 0-4 with 3 KO.

hey ace, WOW! after the Cubs game yesterday w/ A rod and Rivera doing nothing i was pretty sure i had no shot at that cash. but the method i used in picking players paid off…jhonny peralta, ichiro, joel piniero, brett myers and company hooked me up. was watched sportscenter last night and kept seeing my guys doing well so i figured i better check the standings this morning and sure as shit i got the 55 bucks. Thanks to Ace and Draftstreet for the opportunity to win free cash! now off to denver to watch the Rockies and Tigers tonight. thanks again!

Happy to hear it, Chris. I did fairly well, finishing 12th. Got pretty lucky with my relievers. The rest of my team kind of sucked. Again.

If it wasn’t for my near-random pick of Daniel Hudson and his complete-game 1-run asskicking performance over the (heh) White Sox, I think Draft Street might have requested that I pay THEM $55.
