Could it be that the organization still believes Vitters is the long-term answer at third base?

What exactly are we looking for from Matt Garza over the next couple months? What's coming for Starlin Castro? And what's up with David Price's arm?

There is still plenty of time, and plenty of good indicators, including the most important ones at this point in his development.

All hail the return of Blackout Cubbetry!
Back from the depths of other “clever” features that have come and gone including Garfield Minus Garfield Plus and Movie Poster Fun (both of which, I still maintain, are awesome).
I think it’s time for “Garfield – Garfield + Quade”
Good call. Will have to come up with something…
Can’t say that I wish he’d said that, but it’s still pretty awesome. I’m thinking it’s time to “blackout” most everything I read and write in life. Good call.
Jeez, when I was in college, I did PLENTY of blacking out. Step it up, Caleb!
I’ve done PLENTY of blacking out since college. All of 2004 October 07′ & 08′ and the spring of 09′
All Hail the King of Redactions! LMAO!
Great return of Blackout Cubbetry. Best release I’ve seen from Ricketts! Maybe he can copy it for his next one.
Can anyone stand “Hawk” Harrelson?
Yes Serio..you can put it on the board..yes..yes.. “he gone”..lol. We need harry Carey back
Damn funny. Note to tom: we all need a baseball guy. Period.
Thanks, oso.
Just got done reading an excellent article from Gene Wojciechowski, it pretty much sums up all the things I’ve been thinking about Ricketts this year. I have a feeling a lot of people will agree.

Thanks. I had that one in the can for tomorrow. Was still mulling what I wanted to say.
I’m still interested in what you have to say on it. You’ve been pretty supportive and patient with Ricketts, which is just about opposite of my attitude towards him. Looking forward to the write up.
It probably won’t be a huge long thing. I actually agree with a lot of what he says. I just think he makes a lot of assumption about Ricketts that I’m not willing to make (yet).
I see it as headline grabbing, this is Ricketts first full year give him until the end of the year before making wild accusations that he doesn’t have what it takes.
So far Ricketts has done nothing to impress me. He’ll be the owner for the foreseeable future and I’ll continue to be a Cub fan, so my opinion doesn’t matter.
You’re right. Good article. Thank you for the link.
