    The fact that Kerry Wood was credited with a “hold”, clearly shows what a worthless stat. that is, at least as it is now defined. By the way, how is it defined?

      It’s only worthless in real life. I’ve made quite a living out of holds this year in the Bleacher Nation fantasy league since there are so few saves available, so you can’t say it’s completely worthless.
