The Cubs fall to 4-4 on the Spring with today’s loss to the Dodgers. If you were watching, it wasn’t a terribly fun game.

We knew it was coming, but today the signing is official.
It’s Spring Training game eight for the Chicago Cubs, and they’re headed back to Camelback Ranch to take on the Dodgers.
Another report says the Cubs will wind up with the Cuban prospect.
The job belongs, as expected, to David DeJesus. Ryan Dempster wasn’t trying to hit Aramis Ramirez, Dale Sveum doesn’t bail, and Jed Hoyer may have been lucky.
Today, the Cubs beat the Brewers, giving them their first winning record since last April. Sure, it doesn’t count, but it’s OK to smile.
Today the Chicago Cubs head out to Maryvale Baseball Park to take on the Brewers for Spring Training game seven.
A couple more youngsters head out to Minor League camp.
Randy Wells just wants to help the Cubs win, whatever his role. Rick Sutcliffe didn’t feel welcome at camp last year, Dale Sveum likes Trey McNutt, and Aramis Ramirez defends Carlos Zambrano.
It’s a meaningless game, but it’s always nice to beat the White Sox.
