I’m headed to Wrigley Field on Thursday, April 12 to see the Cubs take on the Brewers, and, thanks to MasterCard, I’ve got two sets of two tickets to give out so folks can join me at the game.

Like I mentioned last week, I recently “pledged” to shave my head if the Cubs sweep the Cardinals in April (six games) as part of a MasterCard campaign to get Cubs fans to pledge their loyalty in a variety of creative ways.

Now you can make a pledge, too, and win some tickets in the process. Here’s how:

Check out The Cubs Pledge tab on MasterCard’s Facebook page, where you can show how far you’d go to support your favorite team.

Once you’ve made your Cubs pledge on that page, post your pledge in the comments below or Tweet it to me (@Bleachernation) using the hash tag #CubsPledge, and I’ll pick the most creative two to win a free pair of tickets to attend the Cubs vs. Brewers game at Wrigley Field on Thursday, April 12. Keep in mind, if you win, you better be prepared to live up to your pledge (and you gotta then share it with us, because that’s the fun).

The deadline is Wednesday, April 4 at 9pm CT (10pm ET), so get moving. Make sure that, if you leave a comment with your pledge, you use an email address at which I can contact you to get your address should you win. If you send me the pledge on Twitter, make sure you’re reachable via direct message for the same reason.

(A reminder about that game: even if you can’t make the game, John Arguello from Cubs Den and I will be hanging at a Wrigleyville bar before the game (perhaps after, as well). So, even if you aren’t at the game, you can still make a great day of it.)

I pledge that if the cubs sweep the Nats, I’ll eat nothing but ENTIRELY red/blue food for one week.

  • Andrewmoore4isu

I pledge that if the cubs have a winning record at the end of April I will donate the amount of runs scored to a local charity in the form of dollar bills 1 run = 1 dollar

    • Andrewmoore4isu

MasterCard screwed me. “sorry your zip is 120 miles away from wrigley” but Brett you should still let me in your competition as I think my pledge is cool and unique!

      • http://www.bleachernation.com Brett

Yeah, their end has entry restrictions, but I’ll still hear your pledge.

  • hardtop

I pledge, that if Ian Stewart hits his weight in April (.2XX), I’ll wear a t-shirt to the Rockies-Cubs series that says “Ian Stewart is hung like a horse” on the front and “With balls the size of coconuts” on the back.

    • Katie

      Me likey.
As for me, I’m not pledging anything. You should pick me because I’m the shit.

  • Adam

what games did you mention you would be at wrigley this year, as of now?

    • http://www.bleachernation.com Brett

April 12, April 24, April 25, May 17, June 15, to start with. There will probably be a few more in there somewhere (or that I’ll be in town and milling around outside Wrigley), and there will be more after June (July 14 and August 15, at least).

      • MaxM1908

Will you give us advance notice of the after game spot? I will have to work on Thursday, the 12th, but I’d be tempted to head up to Wrigleyville after work for a post-game celebration.

      • Adam

Make sure to stick around for the May 18 opener vs the Chisox. I got tickets for that Friday afternoon game! I got a beer with your name on it, just as a thanks for all the great content and thoughts you provide.

        • http://www.bleachernation.com Brett

I will definitely still be in Chicago for that game. I don’t have a ticket (yet), but, at worst, I’ll be hanging at a Wrigleyville bar.

          • Adam

Sounds good, will have to meet up before or after for a beer.

  • Cheryl

I pledge to buy a basebasll glove for a Chicago charity if the cubs are five games over 500 at the end of April.

    • hardtop

c’mon cheryl? have you seen the cubs schedule? 5 games over .500 is like a non-pledge. it’s like giving up building time machines for Lent. you should buy the glove if they are 5 wins over .000 at the end of April 😉

      • Cheryl

Hardtop you’re a pessimist. I will lower the games to three over 500; Does that help? And, I expect you to come up with a bat or glove for a charity in your area. Can you?

( I’m adding this, Hardtoop. It is not on the original pledge form. If they are even in wins and losses, I’ll buy a bat for a local charity. If they do reach the original five games over 500 I will buy a bat and glove for a local charity.- But glad we have a deal on the original.)

        • hardtop

Ok lady, you gots yo’sef a deal. If the our beloved Cubbies are 3 games over 500 in at the end of April, I pledge to match your donation of a glove and/or bat to some local kids in need organization. I make this pledge on top of my “stewart has equestrian junk” t-shirt pledge.

      • Bric

No it’s not. We all know Michigan Goat’s real name is Fausto Carmona. Fausto, how much did you charge that guy for your Driver’s license, library card, and National G subscription?

  • Derrick Lloyd

      • MichiganGoat
