Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 8, Twins 2 – June 10, 2012

Ryan Dempster was absolutely dominant once again, and the Cubs won for just the fifth time in their last 25 games. Alfonso Soriano continues to hit the ball hard from the DH spot, and Starlin Castro had a big day at the plate.

Castro also had an interesting day in the field. On one play, he showed us everything we already think about his defensive game: taking a grounder in the hole, Castro took his eye off the ball, and booted it into the outfield. Scrambling to the ball, he grabbed it and threw a strike to the plate from shallow left in one smooth motion, nailing a runner who was trying to score from second. He makes mistakes, but he’s crazy talented. That’s Castro.

Alright, I’m sorry and I won’t bother making comments to anything Joe says. I’ve wasted enough energy dealing with his misinformation, slurs, and insults. I just want this site to maintain the integrity that seperates BN from other Cub sites, and when we ignore people spreading rumors as facts the site loses some of that integrity. So yes I’m sorry that I angered you and I won’t be commenting to him anymore. Enjoy the peace.

I am not mad at anyone, I am just annoyed that you said that you weren’t going to comment to him anymore. Sorry for text yelling.

soler is not yet added. really; you are going to compare a high school kid like almora to bjax…….let’s wait till he swings a bat first. look at baez’ struggles. and rizzo hit .151 in the majors last year……..let’s let bjax play at wrigley first.

i know it’s team theo……….but reality is team theo is the FO of a team on pace to win 50 games and have the worst record ever for the chicago national league ballclub inc., which was founded in 1876……….their cubs resume is pretty bad.
