Enhanced Box Score: Tigers 5, Cubs 3 – June 14, 2012

The Cubs sent the swarms, and swarms of Tigers fans home happy today, and dropped yet another series.

Travis Wood pitched well enough to win (though I can’t say “well,” given the number of base runners), but Justin Verlander was Justin Verlander, and the Cubs couldn’t do enough to support Wood. And I really hated seeing Shawn Camp give up a couple of additional runs in the 9th (and not just because they ended up being the winning margin).
