Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 12, Reds 12 – August 18, 2012

A split yesterday was probably about as good as it was going to get – and it was a net tie, at that. So many things could be enhanced in this data dump of a combined box score, but one thing stuck out at me, as I was unable to watch the second game …

I’m happy Raley got his first win, but I would have liked to see him pitch a bit farther into the game. At this point I would rather he stay up with the big club more than Volstad.

24 total runs in 2 games but not any one them scored in the 3rd inning of any game.

If you look closely brett jackson completely misses 3rd on his homerun

    Should we celebrate Jackson’s hitless,first 0 K game or his 3 K game with his 1st homer?

Happy to see Cardenas get a start and do well. Not too bad of a night for LaHair as well.
