Pre-Gamin’: Cubs v. Astros (7:05 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, etc.

The Cubs head to Houston for a battle of the Never-Weres. The series will have no implications for the Astros, who are assuredly locked into the number one pick slot in 2013, nor for the playoffs or the standings in the Nl Central. But it could have implications for the Cubs, who hold a tentative grasp on the number two pick slot after sweeping the Pirates. I’m not endorsing a root-against-the-Cubs approach to this series, I’m simply explaining the facts.

    Brett,
Fast forward to the draft, to you think the Astros try again with Marl Appell ( Standford picher ) and if not, would Theo and Co. take him as he seems to be an advanced pitching prospect.

If he continues to progress, Austin Meadows should be the pick @#2. This kid is a heart attack. I live in Atl and will be watching him in excess this next year.

That little antic Len and Bob did with the fan, is exactly why I love them in the booth. After a lost season, they can still keep things going, hilarious!
