hohokam-park-signAnother night game in the valley (is it in they valley? I think it’s a valley. It feels like a valley), as the Cubs host the Reds. It’s the first night game at Hohokam for the Cubs in several years. It’s also the second-to-last game for the Cubs at Hohokam.

Jeff Samardzija has his final tune-up for the season tonight, so don’t expect him to go too many innings.

The game is available on Cubs.com/MLB.com (audio) for those of you who have no plans tonight.

The lineup:

1. David DeJesus, CF

2. Starlin Castro, SS

3. Anthony Rizzo, 1B

4. Dave Sappelt, LF

5. Nate Schierholtz, RF

6. Welington Castillo, C

7. Luis Valbuena, 3B

8. Darwin Barney, 2B

9. Jeff Samardzija, P

  • Die hard

Reminds me of the Cubs in 50s

  • Die hard

Only one reason Soriano not playing—- Orioles need DH

  • Wilbur

Went to game yesterday, going again tonight. Spring baseball is outstanding …

  • Patrick W.

I was at the game tonight… brutal outing for Marmol. He just lost it tonight and could not get it back. It was nice to see Candelario and Vogelbach, who looks 30lbs lighter than when I saw him with Boise last fall.
