pnc parkThere’s been a little rain and a little snow, but, right now, it looks like Opening Day is going to go off for the Cubs and Pirates as scheduled. Jeff Samardzija will do his best to hold the Pirates down, and Brent Lillibridge will do his best Darwin Barney impression.

A.J. Burnett takes the ball for the Pirates, and he’s actually had relatively good luck against most of the Cubs over the years.

I applaud Sveum for taking Marmol out that early. I hope we see better bullpen management like this throughout the year.
