Pre-Gamin’: Padres v. Cubs (7:05 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, etc.

wrigley field from right bleachersThe Cubs look to take the first two games of the series against the Padres, and, to do it, they’ll need a good performance from Edwin Jackson. The Cubs’ big free agent signing is still looking for his first, start to finish, good start. He’s had some OK ones, but none that you could really put your stamp on.

On the other side, it’s Edinson Volquez, about whom I read somewhere on Twitter that his team is 6-0 in games he’s started against the Cubs. That probably doesn’t really mean much when you think about it.

Game Info

San Diego Padres (9-16) at Chicago Cubs (10-15), 7:05 CT on WCIU, MLBN.

God damn that little outburst makes Jackson’s bullshit suck even worse. Hell even if he was just bad, or maybe pulled a little earlier, this would be a tie game or 5-4 or something.

  2. willis

    Loe LOVES home runs.

    Dammit all.

  3. Jason

Holy shit, Kameron Loe gave up a home run. Who could have expected THAT to happen?!

Is it time to start booing Edwin Jackson yet, just another player stealing money from the Cubs it looks like. Hes getting out pitched by every starter on this team, yet hes the highest paid player, haven’t seen a good start by this bum, his last 2 games been against the Marlins and Padres, he should shut these bums down, and as I speak Loe gives up another hr, Cant we please release this scrub now….If Jackson has anther bad game at Wrigley next time he should be booed. Lets welcome him to Chi then he will know what pressure is

  5. morgan

I can handle bad games, but you have to earn having a bad game once awhile where nobody really says anything, and hes got about 3 good starts in a row where that can happen

I am at the game and pretty appalled by the fans in the center/ left field bleachers that are trying harder to start a wave instead of watching the game. Boo… Boo these fans. If that’s what you want to call them.

Jackson is starting to look like the worse signing of the year!.. Also trading our Farm for David Price is just plain stupid

  8. Mr.Boring

    Where’s Soriano?

  9. Ramy16

Bill your telling me you’d trade our farm system for 1 pitcher?? That’s horrible way to manage a team..especially since it took soo long to build it up since Hendry tore it down
