wrigley field from right bleachersI got to a computer just in time to post the Hisanori Takahashi trade news, and give you an almost-pre-gamin’ – the Cubs and Astros just got underway, so we’ll call it a current-gamin’.

Travis Wood looks to continue his ridiculous season and the Cubs will try to damage Bud Norris’s trade value.

Castro back in the two spot……..Dale is having fun with Castro. I’m sure the double yesterday was a convincing factor.

  2. Die hard

Castro was smiling after striking out just now … AAA anyone ?

    1. caryatid62

Yes, absolutely. Anyone who smiles EVER should be cut on the spot. No smiling.

      1. Tyler

        And NOOOO sideburns!

    2. Kevin

Scatter brain ……… The elevator not going to the top floor.

    3. Can't think of a cool name

Interesting, he was frowning when he made those 2 excellent plays in the field. I think Castro wants the Astros to win.

      1. caryatid62

Castro just doesn’t have TWTS (or TWTnS when it’s appropriate), I guess.

        1. Can't think of a cool name

Soriano picked off second, its Castro’s fault. Send him to AAA

GO HOME! YOU’RE OFF THE TEAM! FOR GOOD!

  4. Mark S

For someone who is hitting .245, Rizzo sure is getting a lot of intentional walks…

  5. Ry

Way to fuck it up as usual Soriano!

    1. Cedlandrum

Too bad he wasn’t out and it wasn’t even that close. Ump blew the call.

    2. caryatid62

      He was safe.

talk about a hose job of an inning. Good lord Umps.

On another note Ha has been called up to AAA.

  7. Danny Ballgame

What a crappy couple of calls

    1. Diesel

Yeah and Len Kasper really pissed me off by not saying the umpires shut down the cubs bats the last couple of innings and giving the credit to the astros bullpen. It’s hard to get hits when you have to swing at everything because they won’t call a fair strike zone. I am sick and tired of the umpires and the horrible calls against the cubs these days.

  8. someday...2015?

Umps had a tough 8th their and unfortunately it was the difference. Tough loss. On to the next one.
