    Let’s Go CUBS

  2. mick6x

Yet another line up I would pass on before the Cubs I wish I could get used to series like this.

  3. G2Ellis

I know we could start winning some games this series

  4. Rich H

Navarro two days in a row? Are we now showcasing everyone ?

  5. fromthemitten

Wow, that’s late. Considering the pitching matchup should be a low scoring game so maybe it’ll get done before midnight central

  6. mudge

cubs take 5 of 6 out west.

    1. Rich H

That would be nice. But then the Boo birds would come out of the woodwork saying that we shouldn’t break up this team and that we are in the hunt…. blah blah blah.

  7. Rebuilding

Hopefully the Wood needs a personal catcher rumors don’t heat up

    1. mick6x

Chicago always has Wood no matter who is there catching.

  8. Rudy

Fireworks at the Daytona game. Javy with a HR then Gieger gets hit in the head… both pitcher and manager ejected. Pitcher Brian Mitchell shoved Umpire James Rackley on his way out.

    1. Rudy

At least Soler isn’t there to wield his bat! He would have been up after Javy.

      1. Die hard

Soler has other concerns like will he ever be able to run as well as before

        1. X the Cubs Fan

          You’re very obnoxious

    2. X the Cubs Fan

      Is Geiger okay?

  9. Dustin S

I like the way the ball jumps off Junior Lake’s bat, but he’s absolutely brutal defensively. 8 errors already at Iowa (including 1 tonight) in only 23 games.

    1. Die hard

Bring him up– throw him and others in the deep end now

      1. Jimmy James

I thought you standard line was they rushed Castro, now you want to do it to everybody?

        1. hansman1982

Jesus, people, stop responding to Die Hard. It’s not worth it.

          1. Internet Random

You should know that I got a literal LOL from your pedal-extender comment earlier.

            1. hansman1982

Thanks, that really means a lot to me. Which means that my life is fairly pathetic.

          2. Cyranojoe

My new theory is that Die hard is a Cardinal fan or a Brewer fan, just posting here with his insanity/inanity in order to stir the beehive. Probably the latter, since he seems able to spell. ;)

            1. hansman1982

He is either a really dumb human being or someone who has devoted far too much of his life to professionally trolling this website. Wait, that’s only one reason, isn’t it.

              1. Die hard

IFmy count is accurate you post more often and have less to say than anyone else except for Darth. … those who live in glass houses etc…

        2. Die hard

You and others are not paying attention… My major criticism with their handling of Castro is they coddled him in minors letting him beat up minor league pitching so long that he thought he was the second coming of Orlando Cepeda… He wasn’t allowed to fail until settled into the show… If they threw him in the deep end after some early success then he would have realized its a much harder game than he thinks.. He would have gone back to the minors realizing that he’s got a lot to work on before being ready… If this is too hard to understand let me know and I will try again.. I have lots of patience with those sincere in wanting to learn

    SweeneeeEAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

  11. Dustin S

Nolasco got rocked tonight, 5ER in 5 innings.

  12. Melrosepad

Any chance we look at Alex Liddi who was DFA’d by the Mariners? He has had good numbers at AAA and is just 24

Dear Mr Epstien. Len Kasper bores the shit out of me

    1. Theo Epstein

      Dear Mr. Bittner,

      Cool story, Bro.

      Very truly yours,

      Theo Epstein

    2. David

You have awful taste. The Cubs have one of the best broadcast booths in the game, if not the best.

    3. Jimmy James

No issues with Len but sometimes when I’m not thinking I forget brenly left b/c j.d. Sounds a lot like him to me

  14. someday...2015?

Castro closed his stance up a bit. No hits to show for it tonight but he’s made a lot of contact. Nice to see.

  15. CM

If Russell got half the calls Perez did this game would be over.

  16. cub123

where the hell was that last pitch ump??? same spot as perez.

  17. cub123

Another great start by wood wasted!
