If you’re fan of intentionally campy ridiculousness – or were simply anywhere on Twitter last night – you are aware of the latest SyFy movie, ‘SharkNado.’ Without spoiling anything for you, the “film” is exactly what it sounds like (plus Tara Reid!).

BN’er/photography Dylan Heuer did the only reasonable thing you can do when a Cubs fan hears about something called SharkNado blowing up on the web. He made a team-appropriate movie poster. (He did the same back when Bryan LaHair left for Japan.)

Behold his awesome work:

Saw the comercial for this last night and all I can say is OML…..why. But this is a cool poster.

Starting the day with a smile. Nice work Dylan!

I want one for my wall.

Speaking of LaHair….he’s hit 12 homers and is batting around .240 this year for Fukuoka.

the same Dylan of awesome I-Cubs photography??

    • Dylan

      Yup, that’s me! :-)

I’m proud to say that after 6 hours and probably a thousand tweets I figured out that SharkNado was a bad movie and didn’t have to do with some parliamentary procedure fight in the Senate (the problem when the first tweet you read about it is from political correspondent Chuck Todd and you don’t use the google).

It’s what they do when the “nuclear option” doesn’t work.

I will bet SharkNado makes more money than the Lone Ranger

    Outstanding job dylan

Thanks everybody for the kind words! As soon I heard about Sharknado, I automatically thought it was Jeff Samardzija turning into a tornado and spiraling around town biting people’s limbs off with fastballs.

  • Funn Dave

I saw someone (a Brewers fan) post #sharknado on Facebook last night, and I had to click the link to make sure he wasn’t referring to Jeff’s implosion on the mound the other night.

  • DarthHater

I’m really looking forward to the spin-off: Shaqnado!
