  • Believe in 2015

Lonnie Chisenhall is out of the lineup tonight for the Indians. Any chance that Garza or other Cubs involved in a deal?

    • Matt D

i’m sure its possible. never know.

    • Jason P

Probably not. If he was being held out of the lineup for trade reasons, negotiations would have to be pretty far along if not done — unlikely since we’ve heard nothing about it.

      • Cubes

unlikely since we’ve heard nothing about it.

lol cause a cubs message board knows more than the actual teams…
im not saying anything is done…
just kinda find it silly to think that a message board has that kinda clout.

    Hi,

Typo in the write up above. Game time??? 3:10 as it says on the front page.

    Regards,

Thanks. Yup – always trust the headline.

      • Blublud

Brett, it also says Rockies at Cubs when it should be Cubs at Rockies.

  • willis

Tough pitching matchup today. Hopefully EJax has his “A” stuff. He’s been dealing pretty well of late.

  • jacob w

I read an article that says the cubs asked chisenhall and were rejected

  • BABIP (MichCubFan)

So why would we want Chisenhall and why would then not want to trade him? It just feels like I am missing something here. He just isn’t good.

    • BABIP (MichCubFan)

      *they

  • ryanissamson

Ouch Lake… maybe center field isn’t the place for you.

    • Pookyshow

that was way offline but he flicked his wrist and that ball took off he’ll get better

  • DarthHater

    Castro 4 for 5! Woohoo!

  • another JP

    4-5 for Castro… nice

    • Jp3

      Better late than .240😃

  • DarthHater

Okay, time for Junior to cement his legend. :-P

    • DarthHater

      sigh

      • Jp3

        Hey!!! He’s got a 3 game hitting streak….

        • DarthHater

I know. I’m not bad-mouthing him. But there is no joy in Mudville.

          • Jp3

You didn’t see my post a couple down vvvv. 2 game error streak ain’t much to write home about either I would think

      • Jp3

        .

        • Jp3

          and a 2 game error streak but who’s counting?😊

  • CastrotoBarneytoRizzo

Just a little distraction from the Garza situation….Was at the Kane County game today. Gioskar Amaya was 4-4 and was on base 6 times. Albert Almora had 3 hits and was robbed of a 4th. Volgelbach drove in the winning run in the 10th. As my moniker shows, I’ve been a big Darwin Barney fan, but Amaya really impressed me. Not only with the bat, but with the glove…If I had one complaint, Almora had a “hot dog” moment on a fly ball that he one-handed. I hope with the “Cubs Way”, somebody will say something to him…

    Now, back to Garza obsessing….

  • Jp3

Define hot dogging a fly ball? Is that Barry Bonds like where he snatches it out of the air? That use to be obnoxious

    • CastrotoBarneytoRizzo

Yeah, pretty much. He was clearly camped under it, and caught it one handed near his waist instead of over his head….Damn kids! LOL

      • Jp3

Give him a break, he had to look good for his rookie card😊

  • mudge

I can’t remember a player getting a call-up and being plugged in to an unfamiliar position.

    • Jp3

I totally agree, even when Jake Fox got called up they have him a little work at 3rd didn’t they?
