Good one Brett by posting Philips’ OBP. Nice work!

  • Cubbie Tim

    That’s phat of you Brett

  • Nate Dawg

That was da bomb Brett! Boo Ya!

  • DarthHater

Can’t wait for Brandon to walk in during the next podcast and start calling you names. 😉

Lake needs to stop hitting HR’s maybe DALE will play him.

    • Mr. B. Patient

      Let’s do the math…..

Bogo has about a 1% chance of being a significant part of the next Cubs playoff team.
Lake has, about a 10-20% chance of playing a significant role on the next Cubs playoff team.

      Yep, don’t start Lake.

Just to let all know, this game is a Free Game on mlbtv.

  • Justin

Has Junior Lake been playing to well to be play? Maybe if he started to blow complete ass like Castro has all year he could get the nod more.

    • Justin

      *be playing everyday?

  • MightyBear

Boy Travis Wood is dealing early. His stuff looks terrific. I wonder if the extra day of rest is a factor? Probably didn’t hurt.

  • Timothy Scarbrough

Daytona Cubs just won the FSL behind the excellent pitching of C.J. Edwards and Ryan Searle.

    • Timothy Scarbrough

Things are not looking so hot for the Smokies, though, who are currently losing 6-2 in the 5th.

      • Mr. B. Patient

Baez 2 run homer brings Tennessee closer.

  • dan

Lake is a starter I can not believe you would think else wise

    • brickhouse

Lake has not been an every day starter this season – you can not count on him being an every day OF in 2014 – most likely a platoon player

  • CeeDeeVee

Baez with a 2 run HR in the bottom of the 5th to make it interesting! 6-4

  • Die hard

If Bud Black not available how about Mike Soscia?

  • http://bleachenation Sacko

Holy I can only make an opinion on what’s going on with Lake, DALE,Theo, & Uncle Jed:
Sweeney And Bogs missed a lot of time w injuries and they want to take a good look at them deciding how or if they are in our plans. I think Lake is already part of the plan so there is not a lot of concern anymore on how he does compared to the other two.

  • Matt

Are people serious about Bogusevic as a starter next season? He’s fine as a 4th OFer but ….
