bnpodcastimagesmallThe 41st episode of the BN Podcast is here, and Sahadev and I talk about the Kevin Gregg dust-up, the AFL roster shake-up, and the dramatic attendance fall-off.

But the biggest chunk of time is spent, predictably, wading through the difficult issue of the Cubs’ managerial situation. Somehow, we managed to keep the thing under two hours. (Technically.)

We start it all off with a whole lot of road rage, though.

I thought as part of the long term “Plan” next year Cubs come in 4th or 5th place! Dale would be toast at that time. To his credit he has played every Cub farm AAAA talent, retread from the waiver wire and damaged good free agent this FO picked-up. The the team record improved somebody had to get Castro off swinging at balls out of the strike zone. Shark and Rizzo were AAAA players when Dale got the job! Barney can’t hit good MLB pitching period!

I went deep sea fishing once off Cape Hatteras. Needless to say, I got very sick.

No one goes deep sea fishing off cape hatteras, The sea there is very shallow, that is why it is so rough and why so many ships sink there. But I don’t doubt that you got sick and even thought you were deep sea fishing, if you were ever there.

Brett, just want to say how much I enjoy the podcast. As a Cubs fan in St. Louis, I don’t get to talk Cubs too often. So naturally I pretend I’m talking to Sahadev and you. Keep up the good work!

Ha. Thanks, man. That’s what we’re going for.
