wrigley field inside featureThe Cubs will go for two in a row tonight, with #HugWatch in full effect. In preparation for the Blogathon, which starts early tomorrow morning, I will not be up for the end of this one. You’ll have to wait until morning for the EBS.

Edwin Jackson takes the mound for the Cubs tonight, amid rumors that the team would like to deal him if at all possible. The only deadline-related pressure in a Jackson deal comes from other players potentially being moved as competing pieces – because, with respect to Jackson, specifically, his contract will clear waivers in August, making him tradable next month.
